Dr. Maxwell Oldham is a native Austinite and is excited to be back in the Kyle area! He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he graduated valedictorian of his dental school. Subsequently, he chose to complete his orthodontic residency at the well respected and renowned University of Oklahoma orthodontic program.

Dr. Oldham received a multitude of awards for clinical and educational excellence during his training. In fact, he was selected to receive the prestigious Kramer Award, which is awarded to the dentist who shows the greatest potential for future advancement of the profession and service to others. Dr. Oldham also earned the Storey Award during his training, which is awarded to one student per year for excellence in the field of orthodontics. Upon graduating, Dr. Oldham was elected by faculty members into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, which was created in 1914 for dentists who distinguish themselves by a high grade of scholarship and character.

Dr. Oldham is an avid learner and is up to date on the latest technology and innovations. He uses the best, most patient friendly techniques with outstanding results. Dr. Oldham also stays active within a variety of dental professional organizations and takes many continuing education courses.

It was in San Antonio that he met his beautiful wife Olivia. Dr. Oldham currently lives with her in Kyle, Texas. In his free time, Dr. Oldham enjoys playing tennis, soccer (which he played in college), hiking with his wife, helping out at his local church, and rooting on the Texas Longhorns! Hook’em!
